The past two weeks have been really difficult for me. What a blessing to come home and find this cute little fellow hanging on my front door knob along with a secret note to cherrychickens! He is made of felt, fabric, and beads. Isn't he just the cutest? It warmed my heart and made me feel so much better. Thanks S, whoever you are.

I'm a native of beautiful and historic Virginia. My interest in chickens came about 5 years ago. Before purchasing my house, I made sure I could have some chickens in the city. I knew I wanted to raise some birds and enjoy some fresh eggs. I enjoy planting herbs, flowers, and vegetables. I also enjoy writing, reading, fishing, cooking, decorating, quilting, and watching my favorite programs when I have time. I have two parakeets, two hermit crabs, four chickens, and one cat. I enjoy my little menagerie and would most likely enjoy even more if I could.
